Paneer Besan Paratha

The most difficult task is what to give our family  in the morning that is for breakfast, which is yummy and healthy also.There are many types of paratha . we make paneer paratha ,aloo paratha , gobhi paratha  etc.I wanted to give a try by mixing paneer and besan and it came out yummy and healthy also. It can be deep fried also but I prefered shallow frying on a tawa to make it healthier using less oil . So do give it a try. 


  • crumbled paneer 200gm
  • besan (gram flour)roasted 1/2 -1 cup
  • onion 1 medium (finely chopped)
  • green chilly 2 (finely chopped)
  • red chilli flakes 1 teaspoon
  • garlic powder 1 teaspoon can( use chopped garlic )
  • zeera powder 1 teaspoon
  • chaat masala 1 teaspoon
  • salt 1 - 2 teaspoon or as per taste
  • ajwain 1/2 teaspoon
  • for dough wheat flour 1- 1/2 cup
  • water 1 cup (as required)
  • salt 1-1/2 teaspoon
  • oil 1tbsp


First make a soft plaible dough by mixing wheat flour, salt, oil.keep aside for 10-15 mts . Meanwhile in a bowl mix all the masala's ,paneer, onion , roasted besan (gramflour). now heat a tawa . take a small ball size dough , add 1tbsp of the paneer mixture and fill into it, round the dough into a ball using your fingers. now roll it into medium size paratha's. Place the paratha on the tawa and cook from both the sides using oil or ghee until golden in color. remove on a plate cut into half and serve with ketchup or green chutney .

U can use ajwain in the mixture or in the dough
